I do not spend money on a purse to let others know I have the money to spend. In fact, I'm the opposite. I stay away from logos and monograms. I buy my bags based on quality, how long they will last me, the craftsmanship, how it feels, etc...
It's like how I don't spend $100s on jeans just because people will know it's $$, I do it because the fit better, the washes are nicer, they do not stretch out as much, and so on.
